AWAY FROM THE LIGHT
[from 2004 archives]

Take my hand and lead me through the night, my dearest angel, away from the light. Whispering trees call out my name demons screech, moan, and yell. Take my hand and lead me through the night. Fear stands behind me in bliss. He rings his enticing most succulent bell. Away, away from the light. His words are sharp, like hammering nails. Take my hand and lead me through the night Hold me with all your might. Do not let go. And take me away, away from the light.
Way below the edge of the cliff, the waves crash.
There are jagged rocks and salted sand, Take my hand and lead through the night.
If I am caught, you will be gone from sight. Hopes, Dreams, Love - Gone with out a fight. Take my hand and lead me through the night, My dearest angel, away from the light
