10 Affirmations of my Future Self

Currently I am in this fit program and there was a mindset day that asks us to revisit our vision statement and goals for week one. We were asked to create ten affirmations we would have to say daily.
Every week I go over and rewrite my vision statement and update if needed and recently I have added my mission statement to the mix, and not to mention the daily gratitude I do every morning.
Now, I will be adding this to my morning routine. This really did take me a few days to really think about the person I will embody when I reach my goals.
You know to really think about it....I don't know what life is going to be like when I lose the weight and keep the pounds off for good. Remember, I have been fat my entire life. I have no clue what it feels like to be skinny or lean or what healthy looks like. I only know what has been advertised to the world. Sure I played volleyball my junior and senior year in high school and played two seasons for an outside league but I was still fat and agile.
If we took it back to cave man days where there were, hunters, gatherers, and thinkers - I would be a thinker...more an observer. My whole physical life was never a concern of mine. At a young age, my life was shaped to be obedient, silent, self-giving. When I began to develop my own mind, then it became about having an impenetrable wall, becoming neutral, satisfying any need that must be met.
I know, that when the time comes, I will be a totally different person. By having these affirmations or these declarations, they are guidelines to the person who I really want to become.
